7/26/2023 0 Comments Laura mercier concealer ula![]() I’ll update this if I find another noteworthy one. Recently, I decided to switch it up and use Bare Minerals Blonzer blush and I love it! I think it’s since been discontinued so I will be on the hunt for a new blush – I’ve been wanting to try a cream blush on my acne-prone skin and I am still a bit hesitant. It is highly pigmented with just a hint of shimmer to make you glow. It is no secret that I love all things Nars, but this blush is a total cult classic. The trick is to do one base coat of the waterproof formula and go in with a second coat of their non-waterproof foruula thereafter to lock it in and add extra volume. Mascara – My long time favorite is L’Oreal Lash Paradise Mascara – WATERPROOF! The waterproof formula is AMAZING and really helps keep your curled lashes intact without the clumpiness. It melts onto the skin and you do not need more than one application – you definitely get your $$ worth. Although Nars is a cult classic, CT’s Flawless Longwear takes the cake. For the past year, however, I’ve given Nars a rest and tried out the Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Longwear foundation – I’ve been LOVING this!! Loving feelings like an understatement because seriously, I don’t know what took me so long to make the switch. I have yellow undertones so it sometimes made finding the right foundation tough until I found this one – my perfect match was the Stromboli shade. The formula is medium-buildable coverage and gives you that dewy look that makes you look (& feel) radiant! I also loved that Nars Sheer Glow has great color shades to match almost any skin tone. Foundation – I have 2 that I swear by! My faithful one that I used for YEARS was the Nars Sheer Glow foundation. It is also affordable at $25 which is a huge plus! This plus a little concealer and you’ll be out the door in no time. I love Laura Mercier’s Tinted Moisturizer Natural Skin Perfector Broad Spectrum with SPF 30 (I bought the Mini version bc a little goes a long way!) It applies very smoothly, and has just the perfect amount of sheer coverage. Tinted moisturizer – This is necessary for your “no makeup” makeup looks and those summer days when you don’t want a full face but you still want to look put together. If looking for a good concealer brush, I recommend the real techniques “expert face” brush. It doesn’t crease, blends super well & has great coverage. I’ve tried a few – Tarte’s Shape Tape, Nars Creamy Concealer, etc, but my absolute favorite one is the Too Faced – Born This Way Multi Use Sculpting Concealer. Concealer – This is absolutely essential to have in your makeup bag and in your everyday purse! From solving problem areas, to that everyday “no make up” – makeup look, a good concealer is essential.I bought mine when I was around 18 or 19 and have been using the same one since! (I give my brush a bath every few weeks, which has helped keep my skin clear & has 100% helped me keep it in tact for as long as I have). It retails for $30 (un poco pricey but TRUST me on this!) It is worth the investment. It is from the Sephora collection – PRO foundation Brush #55. 1 brush that I’ve been true and loyal to for over 6 years is my foundation applicator brush from sephora. ![]() Many love the beauty blender and the variations of it but I SWEAR by makeup brushes. ![]() I am a firm believer in quality & investing in your skin products & in the products that you will apply your product with because ultimately, it’s what will help make your skin/makeup look seamless.
